In April 2019, the M800 full-liquid rock core rig drilling machine undertook the task of deep hole drilling (300-550 meters) in complex strata on the South Tibet Plateau near the China-India border at an altitude of nearly 5,000 meters.
Heavy snow was falling on the plateau, and the north wind was howling. The site was enveloped in cold.
In order to ensure normal construction, prevent freezing, a boot on 24 hours non-stop running.
Over the course of more than ten days, the first drill hole achieved a 300-hour, 483-meter penetration, and the final hole diameter was 76 mm
