Project Features:
Karst caves are common in strata, and all boreholes are inclined holes. Part of the boreholes need to pass through three layers of karst caves with a large span.
Project outcome:
A portable hydraulic power head drill was used to construct two inclined holes of about 640 meters, and the final holes were successfully completed according to the designed depth. One of the inclined holes passed through the three layers of karst caves, and the maximum length of karst caves was 10 meters. Within the effective drilling time, the first hole took 18 days and the second hole took 16 days.
